JXD S601 Overview
The JXD S601 is a combination of a Retro games console and an Android tablet. This device has the ability to emulate consoles such as the NES, the GBA and the Sega Mega Drive.
The JXD S601 comes with many emulators built in, although you are also able to install your own emulators, if you so wish. You can also play most of your favourite Android games on this device (including Angry Birds).
Contrary to what you might have read on some Chinese sites, this is NOT a PSP, and does not possess the ability to play PSP games, nor can it emulate them. The S601 resembles the original PSP and is much the same size.
I would not recommend buying the S601 if you wish to play PS1 and N64 games. There will be a lot of slow down, the processor just isn’t fast enough. It is however wonderful at emulating the other consoles that came before the PS1 and N64.
